Danila was born in the USSR, in 1996 his family moved to Budapest, Hungary where he finished his studies at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design faculty of film and media design. In 2002 he was awarded for his first one minute long social spot, which was followed by several music videos, documentaries and commercials. Now he is living and working in Barcelona. The multi-cultural background (russian-hungarian-spanish) sometimes gives a very mysterious and immersive touch to his films. Combining styles and techniques are his favorite playground in filmmaking. Funny surrealism, ironic intellectuality and beautiful melancholy are standing close to Danila's world.
