La Habana

Havana, 1989. Director, writer, and producer based in New York. She is currently an MFA Creative Producing Candidate at Columbia University. She has directed two documentaries "Partir" and "Memories of the Absent", both winners of several awards and part of the official selection of Havana Film Festival and Chicago-Latino "Piola" her first feature as producer won at the W.I.P. Competition at FICG 2019. Her last short film as a producer "Soy Sola" has been selected for the Short Film Corner in Cannes 2019. At present, she is developing her directorial debut in fiction with the short film "Aburo" and the feature "The Fox and The Raven" both set in Cuba.
